Welcome prospective members

Welcome to the Membership Application pages for use by schools and programs that wish to join the Executive MBA Council as academic members, and by companies and organizations that wish to join the Executive MBA Council as corporate members.

To apply as an academic member, schools first must meet the following criteria:

Status as a public or private not-for-profit institution of higher learning
Accreditation
Offering of Executive MBA Program for fully employed professionals with at least five years of significant post-baccalaureate work experience
Delivery of Executive MBA Program in a cohort/lock step format

The council also will weigh additional criteria after receiving completed applications from prospective academic members and notify applicants about the status of their application.

UPDATES

• What happened at the 2023 EMBAC Conference in Scottsdale, Arizona? Plenty! In the December 2023 issues of EMBAC Voice, you can find recaps of the overall conference and the plenaries, as well as highlights from a host of VDFs, AND learn more about board member Joe Stephens, corporate member ProspectCloud, and Jamie Breen, the 2023 Bud Fackler winner. The issue also features more updates, such as EMBAC Membership Program Survey highlights and a preview of the 2024 EMBAC Conference location.

• 2023 was a busy year for EMBAC, and the 2023 EMBAC Annual Report details EMBAC's work, achievements, and next steps.

• The 2023 issue of EMBAC’s member magazine Executive Connections is now available online. In this issue, EMBAC members in program leadership, coaching, and marketing and admissions share their thoughts and experiences about what’s new and what’s not with EMBA students. The issue also features a deep dive on artificial intelligence and EMBAC updates.
